“I earned my Master of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and after graduation, joined Novus Engineering, P.C. working as a mechanical engineer and a project manager. Having experienced both the Chinese and the U.S. education systems, I decided to become an educator and help young international students to shape their experience for international education. In 2013, I entered the education field and led the project management team at American International Education Development Council (AIED Council) and designed various international education programs. Last year I co-founded a website and mobile phone application to assist Chinese applicants and students connect with each other and gain insights into higher education institutions abroad, especially my alma mater, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)!”

RF Engineer, Sprint
“I graduated from RIT’s MS Telecommunications Engineering Technology program in 2012 and stepped right into a great telecommunications career at Mobilenet Services in the United States. My education at RIT was so applied that my problem wasn’t to find a job, but to choose one! I had multiple job offers even before I graduated , and now I work on projects for the largest mobile carriers in the U.S.”

“I graduated from RIT’s MS Telecommunications Engineering Technology program and stepped right into a great telecommunications career. Currently I am working as an RF Engineer for Sprint in the United States. Telecom was my initial program as it the fastest growing sector and has immense potential for future growth. I chose RIT since its program emphasizes on hands-on skills that enable us to prepare for a variety of jobs and in different specialties such as wireless, networking and fiber optics. My education at RIT was so applied that my problem wasn’t to find a job, I had multiple job offers even before I graduated.”

Seerat Sodhi, MBA
Senior Consultant, Deloitte, New York City
“My decision [to attend Saunders College of Business] was motivated by the flexibility to choose from a variety of courses that were tailored to equipping me with practical business experience, as well as the personal attention from professors that was assured owing to a small class size. One of the most important takeaways from Saunders was the incredible support I received and relationships I built not just with peers, but the staff, faculty and alumni. The easy access to faculty resulted in an enhanced learning experience, which helped during my assistantships, internships and full-time job. Since I graduated, I still have conversations with professors whom I consider mentors. I joined Deloitte to be exposed to diverse financial products, work with cross border teams and forge global ties.”

Pallav Mazumdar, MBA
Senior Marketing Analyst, Loyalty Marketing Agency
“I always wanted to get my Masters from a good school in the US. RIT was one of the better schools in terms of value for money and resources. Also, the school had a high mixed population with kids coming from different countries which would have been a great learning experience for me. I chose RIT, based on these factors and also the fact it was in NY. It's a state with a lot of opportunities and gives you exposure to a wide array of cultures/people/personalities/places/etc. MBA was my first choice. RIT being a technical school might not be known for it's Business program; but a good school will always bring in good professors. The standards were high and that interested me. Saunders College of Business did provide me with all that I had been looking for in a school within my budget.”
